Sleep Nidra - Rooted in the Dsrk

When the mind won't slow down, sometimes it needs something real and earthy to settle around.

This practice takes you into a quiet forest at the end of day. Ancient trees, deep roots, soft ground underfoot, and the sky shifting from dusk into the first stars of night. As the forest draws inward from the busyness of daylight, so does the body. So does the mind.

Grounded in the Water element of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this Nidra works with the Kidney energy of deep reserves and replenishment. It is the practice for the nights when you feel depleted, overstimulated, or simply far from yourself.

20–25 minutes. Lie down, cover yourself with a blanket, and let the forest do the rest.
