Dark Moon Yin

Dark Moon Yin — 40 Minutes

The moon is almost invisible tonight. Just a sliver of light before the new cycle begins tomorrow.

This is a practice for that exact moment — the dark before the dawn, the exhale before the next inhale. If the last few weeks have felt full, heavy, or like a lot has been asked of you, this is your permission to set it down.

We'll move through a slow, floor-based Yin sequence — Reclined Butterfly, Deer, Dragonfly, Banana and Twisted Roots, and Legs Up the Wall — working with the Kidney and Bladder meridians, the channels that govern your deepest energy reserves. No rushing. No striving. Just long, held shapes that let the body unwind at its own pace.

You don't need a yoga mat or studio equipment. A space on the floor, a cushion from the couch, and a wall is all it takes.

This class was recorded on 17 March 2026 — the morning before the Pisces New Moon — but it belongs to any moment when you need to slow all the way down and remember that rest is not wasted time. It is the work.

Level: All levels welcome · beginners included Props: Cushion or folded blanket · optional block or thick book · wall space Theme: Dark Moon · Kidney + Bladder · Letting the cycle close
